The Dairy (Draycott) sleeps a maximum of 4 people. This 260 year old former dairy, modernised using locally produced materials to complement the original stone flooring, stable doors and beams is a stylish and contemporary holiday home. Inside you'll find a well fitted galley style kitchen adjoining the lounge where there are window seats and a cosy electric stove. On the first floor, the master bedroom has spectacular far reaching rural views. To the front, there is a warm sun room which enjoys magnificent, panoramic views over the Somerset Levels and to the rear, at the top of 13 steep, original stone steps (with a handrail) is a pretty patio garden. Nearby, a footpath leads to the top of Cheddar Gorge; this world-famous site is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty that reveals fascinating insights to our prehistoric ancestors and is an international centre for caving and rock climbing, Alternatively, just a short drive away, the ancient village of Cheddar, with its famous caves and award winning cheese factory is ideal for exploring.
